ABOUT ME
Thoughts. Experiences. Inspiration.
With some 25 years of experience, Brian Twomey is a Dallas, Texas-based investor and entrepreneur involved in the food and beverage industry. His diverse roles have allowed Brian Twomey to grow businesses around Dallas and gain them national exposure.
In 2007, Mr. Twomey founded the first business that would establish the pattern for his future endeavors. Twomey Concepts acted as a restaurant holding company that sought to launch both casual dining and upscale restaurants throughout Dallas. Over the next seven years, he contributed to the creation of restaurants like The Common Table, Toko V, and Loft 610.
Mr. Twomey’s knowledge then led to a new kind of success. In 2013, he discovered Three Happy Cows, a local Greek yogurt brand, and helped it grow until it received attention from Tyson Foods. Under his leadership, Tyson acquired Three Happy Cows, enabling the brand to reach store shelves nationwide. He then co-founded Mustang Custom Foods, LLC, a frozen foods co-packing business in 2019 . Mustang Custom Foods was acquired in May of 2024 in a private equity transaction after 5 years of rapid growth.
He currently holds three concurrent positions as the founder and principal of Ossory Group, board member at TCT Intellectual Property, and co-founder and managing director of Mustang Growth Partners in Dallas, Texas -- a private investment company. At the latter, Brian Twomey oversees investments in early and mid stage companies in the food and beverage manufacturing industries.
Brian Twomey holds a bachelor of business administration in finance from Baylor University and an MBA in marketing from Southern Methodist University.
